The Problem

Detection Method
Acoustic correlation survey of the entire common-property water main. Identified a buried leak at a coupling joint 40m from the city meter — the leak was on the strata's side of the meter.
Results
The leak was repaired. The PM successfully applied to the municipality's leak adjustment program and recovered $12,000 in excess water charges from the previous 6 months. Annual survey program implemented.
